I’ve sprinted countless times to the top of East Rock, a cliff overlooking New Haven. Dizzy and breathless, I soak in a vista of tree-lined streets, West Rock, the ocean, and the horizon. This journey up the Rock has become a healing ritual for me, filling me with gratitude for being a speck in the vast universe who can witness all that vastness in my own head.”
