Named after a quotation from The Little Prince, by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry: “What makes the desert beautiful,” said the little prince, “is that there’s a well hiding somewhere…”

The Strongest Tree Bends in the Wind (2019)

Inspired by trees in storms as an allegory for resilience, this piece earned a 2020 ASCAP Morton Gould Young Composers Award.
