I love to create and enjoy music. Although genre is a historically and economically significant concept, I could not be less interested in confining myself to a certain type of composing or listening. Whether I am singing a pop song or dabbling in the glockenspiel, I want to make an honest expression of my love of music that connects with other people.
I make music from a place of exploring how I feel. Even as I tend to compose from a bright, joyful, and confident place, vulnerability and pain and other colorful complexities inevitably surface, demanding to be heard. My compositions come from this dance between my subconscious and my conscious, and I find deep joy in sharing warm, vibrant, lyrical expressions of my discoveries with the world.
